Welcome to Hillsboro Kansas, gateway to Marion Reservoir Lake. Located on the edge of the picturesque Flint Hills, Hillsboro residents are in touch with nearly one million people in less than an hour’s drive; Wichita to the South, Salina to the North, Hutchinson to the West and Emporia to the East. Two state highways intersect at Hillsboro providing quick access to the Interstate system, Hwy 56 traveling East and West, and Hwy 15 heading North and South.

Hillsboro’s 3000 residents enjoy living in a progressive town in a rural agricultural setting. Our strong educational system is enhanced by a multi-million dollar athletic stadium recently completed as a joint venture between USD 410 and Tabor College. Hillsboro has an aggressive business climate with an active industrial park and is home to a number of businesses including two trailer manufacturing firms, feed mill and Golden Heritage Foods one of the nation’s leading producers of processed honey to name a few.
